Shirin is an embodiment of resilience and transformation. Born to Palestinian and Egyptian refugees, she has forged her path to becoming a visionary entrepreneur, influential author, and the driven Executive Director of Ronnie's House. Her resilience, derived from her refugee roots, has shaped her into a force for good that consistently drives positive change in California. Shirin opened the first business Accelerator in Long Beach, CA, the 7th largest city in California, in 2019 and has served over 1000 entrepreneurs.

Her entrepreneurial journey spans over three decades and encompasses many industries, including music, real estate, radio, technology, and marketing. Throughout her career, Shirin has continually demonstrated her innovation acumen and instinct for opportunity.

Her dedication to social transformation equally matches her passion for entrepreneurship. At Ronnie’s House, she uses her vast experience to support justice-impacted individuals, guiding them towards reentry and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit. “Switch the Hustle” provides a practical and inspirational guide for individuals seeking to channel their hustle into productive and legal businesses.

She was inspired by her husband Ronnie’ Senegal, who served 18 years in Prison before he turned his life around thanks to Entrepreneurship. Ronnie lost his life 2016 to gun violence, but his spirit lives on in her work.
In everything she does, Shirin seeks to inspire, support, and drive transformative change, making her a compelling figure in entrepreneurship and social justice.
